Ricky Scott grew up in Kingston Springs, just outside of Nashville, and earned his degree in Engineering Science and Management of Technology from Vanderbilt University. He is a founding partner of The Kingston Group, a residential construction firm established in 2007. Prior to that, Ricky was a founding partner of The Standard, a renowned restaurant and event space in downtown Nashville.
Ricky and his wife, Lori, have two children. Their son, Jackson, 13, is an avid sports enthusiast who is currently in love with golf, while their daughter, Olivia, 11, is the family’s creative spirit, excelling in both art and music. Both Jackson and Olivia attended preschool at High Hopes, deepening the family’s personal connection to the organization.
Ricky became involved with High Hopes through Lori, who has been a dedicated feeding therapist at the center for over thirteen years. He has actively contributed to the organization, serving many times as chair of the golf committee and on the Advisory Board, including a term as its chair. Lori has also been instrumental in founding signature events such as High Hopes & Hops and Runway of Hope.
In addition to his work with High Hopes, Ricky has served on the board of Our Kids in Nashville and held leadership roles with the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee, including as chair of the Remodeling Council and the Education Committee.
